Frequently Asked Questions:
What is the time commitment?

As far as time commitment goes, you can expect to spend at least 5-10 hours a month for meetings and planning in the months leading up to the camp, 10-20 hours in preparation and planning the week before the camp, and about 8.5 hours a day during the run of the camp (8 hours instructional time, 1/2 hour prep work/clean up).  If campers need before and after care, you may organize that with the campers’ parents. Any arrangements made in this way are paid directly to you.

Do students pay for the camp? Are there scholarship given?

Students pay $200 apiece for the camp.  However, scholarships are given based on need.  This cost goes toward the rights to the production, costume rental, snacks, your pay, and more.

What is the expected size of the camp?

We expect to have at least 20 campers, and need about that many to fill the roles available in the show. If we get up to 30 campers, we will be able to hire an additional assistant for you.
