"Ghost the musical" 2016

Michael J. Dodson is a native of St. Louis. He received his BA in Musical Theatre Performance from William Woods University (Fulton) in 2011, followed by a MBA in Marketing and Advertising in 2013.

He moved to Los Angeles for a year and appeared on two episodes of ABC's "Scandal" as Jack, the White House photographer.

He first graced the stage in Jefferson City in TLT's "Oklahoma" as Will Parker and first came to CCP a year later as Rod in "Avenue Q."

He has musically directed for CCP on numerous productions and made his directorial debut with, " Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."

His stage credits include: Capital City Players (Jefferson City) productions of:  "Rock of Ages" as Franz, "A Funny Thing Happen On The Way To The Forum" as Hero, "Les Miserables" as Grantaire, "Spring Awakening" as Georg, "All Shook Up" as Dean Hyde and "Young Frankenstein" as Victor Frankenstein.

He appeared in The Little Theater of Jefferson City (Jefferson City) productions of:  "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" as Willy Wonka, "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" as Freddy Benson, "Cinderella" as the Prince and "Hairspray" as Sketch.

He also performed in William Woods University (Fulton) productions of:  "The Glorious Ones" as Flaminio Scala, "9 to 5 the musical" as Joe and "Kiss Me Kate" as Bill.

Michael recently moved back from LA to take on a more active role in Capital City Productions; immersing himself in the Sponsorship and Educational committees and assisting in Musical Direction.  Michael will bring with him his performing talents and his passion of the arts, as well as his knowledge in marketing, to ensure CCP ‘s successful future.
